I'm studying my PGCE and have struggled to find comprehensive textbooks that say exactly what I need to apply to a classroom and this is one of the good ones.I will however say that some of the language can be inaccessible to non-academics. There's a natural assumption that teachers are naturally academics and that's not necessarily the case - most are teachers because they want to help kids. Theory is great, but putting this into practice is another matter.Good quality book and great service. Thanks!
