Hair can be soft or it can be wiry or straight. (Or sometimes even curly.) When I was little, I had to get a crew cut. I have seven cowlicks so I have to part my hair in the middle. When I would run in the winter with a toboggan on, I would get ice in my hair from the sweat running off my head. Once, I went a year without getting a hair cut and then went to the barber shop down the street and for seven dollars got a flattop and all the old guys hanging out thought it was hilarious and the guy who ran the liquor store next door even came over to watch.
