As God is my witness, Peter Rowan could sing his way into heaven or like a man trying to stay out of prison! I never used to be a fan of bluegrass until I heard Dust Bowl Children." This is a collection of old time bluegrass and gospel with new musicians accompanying this folk icon. The album pleases the ears with some great guitar and banjo picking, wonderful fiddle playing and some mandolin chiming in for good measure. The singers harmonize perfectly and Rowan sings like his life depended upon it (as usual). St. Chistopher, when the dogs all run, I am a Beatles fan and Rowan is the Paul McCartney of country bluegrass. The timing and synchronization on this album are impeccable. Move over Beethoven, here comes Rowen!
