In my many years of being a "rocker" and digging most everyone from the Stones to Bruce, I do not know how I overlooked Nils Lofgren. Nils has taken me to school with his new album. I am prompted to search out his previous releases. Hard to pick a favorite track because every one on Old School is great. Nils' songwriting is outstanding and the songs flow with changes that reward repeated listenings. Production, musicianship by supporting band members and recording quality are all first class. Had I heard this album in 2011 it would have received my vote for one of the best CDs of the year.P.S. The group dog picture in the foldout is priceless! Thanks to Nils for including it.
